THE PAST RECREATED

RESIDENTS OF THE COTTAGE

We welcome your comments, good or bad,in our Guest Book

We have managed to trace most of the residents of the cottage since it was built. We have used census returns, electoral registers and local directories. However in the early days many of the records were known to be inaccurate or inconsistent as the residents filled the forms themselves in many cases. In others they could not write and sometimes the enumerators were in a hurry.
